AI SDR agent - overview
What the agent does, why it is opt-in, and how it runs per rep.
The AI SDR agent is your always-on sales development rep. You set it up once - who to target, how many emails a day, which hours to work - and it runs the outbound loop for you: find prospects, pull verified emails, draft a personalised opener in your voice, send it, and follow up if there is no reply. Ready to set one up? Jump to Set up your AI SDR agent.
What one agent does, end to end
- Finds prospects that match your ICP brief, and skips any company already in your pipeline.
- Reveals decision-maker emails for each new company.
- Drafts a personalised opener in your voice, learned from your real Outlook Sent items.
- Sends it from your own inbox (only if you turn auto-send on), paced across the day.
- Follows up if there is no reply - two AI-written follow-ups - then moves the lead to Lost.
Every rep runs their own
Agents belong to the rep who creates them. Each agent stores its own target profile, pitch, schedule and sending inbox, so one workspace can run several at once - for example one targeting wholesalers and another targeting agencies, each sending from a different rep. Everyone in the workspace can see the list of agents, but only the owner (or an admin) can edit, run or archive one. Emails always send from the owner's inbox and land on the owner's pipeline.
Sends are spread through the day
The agent does not fire your whole daily quota at 9am. It paces sends across your working window - a target of ten across a nine-to-five goes out a couple an hour. That keeps your sending pattern natural and protects your sender reputation. (The manual Run now button is the exception: it sends the batch immediately so you can test.)
Replies stop the chase automatically
Every hour the agent checks your inbox and stops the follow-up sequence the moment a prospect replies. It recognises a reply three ways: from the exact address you emailed, from a “Re:” of your original subject (so a reply on the thread from any address counts), or from anyone at the same company domain. Out-of-office and holiday autoreplies are ignored, so a vacation responder never wrongly ends a sequence.
Before you switch on auto-send
Automatic sending fires cold email from your own domain, so your email must be authenticated first or it will land in spam. This is a one-time setup and it matters - see Authenticate your email before auto-send.
What it costs
Prospecting, email reveal and the AI drafts draw on your monthly credit pot - there is no separate agent licence or per-send fee. See AI credits for how each action is priced.
