Internal notes and @mentions
Team-only comments with autocomplete mentions.
Internal notes are the "team chat" layer inside every project task. They are invisible to the client and stay with the task forever, so context does not walk out the door when someone leaves.
Posting an internal note
Click into any task and use the comment box at the bottom of the drawer. The Internal-only tick box is on by default. Untick it if you actually want the client to see the note.
Mentioning teammates
Type @ in the comment box and Jeanus autocompletes with your active teammates. Pick the person and press enter. Once you post, the mentioned teammate gets a dashboard notification linking back to the task.
What triggers a notification
- Being
@-mentioned in any comment on any task. - Being assigned a new task.
- A task you own being completed, blocked, or approved.
- A client comment on a task you own.
Where notifications appear
The bell icon in the top nav shows unread notifications. Click through to jump straight to the task, project or customer that fired it. If you have email notifications enabled, you also get a digest email.
