Outlook meetings on customer + lead cards

Meetings sync every 30 min and match attendee emails to your CRM records. See upcoming + past inline with a Join button.

Updated 6 July 2026

Once a rep connects their Microsoft account, we pull their Outlook calendar every 30 minutes and match meeting attendees to customer and lead records automatically. Upcoming and past meetings render on the matched record’s detail page with a Join button.

Connecting Outlook

Under Settings > My account, click Connect Outlook. You’ll be sent to Microsoft to authorise; scopes requested are Mail.Read, Mail.Send, Calendars.Read and basic profile. Once connected, meetings from -14 days to +30 days are pulled on the next sync run.

How matching works

For each meeting, we read the attendee list from Microsoft Graph. For each attendee email, we look it up against your customers’ primary email, saved contact emails, and your leads’ email fields (within your tenant only, never cross-tenant). If we find a match, the meeting is stamped to that customer or lead. Customer matches always win over lead matches.

What you see on the detail page

The Outlook meetings panel shows:

  • Upcoming meetings by default, with a Join button for online ones and a link out to Outlook
  • Past meetings hidden behind a “Show N past” toggle
  • Subject, start time, duration, location or online indicator, and up to three attendee names

Meetings on the unified timeline

Every matched meeting also appears on the All comms panel as a meeting entry, so a rep scrolling recent history sees the meeting in context with the emails and notes around it.

When a meeting doesn’t match

No CRM row will show it. The rep still sees it on their own calendar view inside Jeanus — matching is additive, not filtering. Common reasons for a miss: the attendee’s email is different from what’s stored on the customer/lead record; the attendee is only a colleague, no external party is on the invite.
